DUCHESS OF WALES DETERMINED, STUBBORN, GOAL-ORIENTED, STRUCTURED, NEW TO THE WORLD, PRIVATE, RESERVED, CAUTIOUS, EAGER TO LEARN, SEARCHING this here is her grace, callidora mairwen fontaine, duchess of wales. but she prefers calli fontaine -- not dora or dori, ever. she has just arrived in crystal lake to find her sister, her twin, winnifred england. for twenty-one years, they have been unknowingly separated. calli intends to fix that. while in crystal lake, she hopes to go relatively unnoticed. she doesn't want to be duchess of wales while looking for her sister. for the first time in her life, she has taken off her royal hat and shirked her royal duties to take care of some personal business. the problem? she has no idea what she's doing. she's alone and in a new environment, doing something she knows could change her life, as well as others'. she gets to make her own choices, her own schedule. she has to do her own laundry -- egads! -- and make her own food and clean her own apartment. but she doesn't know how to do anything, she doesn't know how to make real friends (as opposed to socialites and ladder-climbers), her romantic history is very slim (and more of a history of convenience, if she were to be honest). she needs help but doesn't know how (or want) to ask for it. she really is a sweet girl, but it's hidden beneath years of "proper" training. being surrounded by fake individuals has taught her to always be polite and civil, to bite her tongue, and to maintain appearances. so long as her identity as the duchess of wales is kept quiet -- she doesn't expect to be recognized since she's not necessarily a "big" celebrity -- she hopes to get to know herself.

( duke and calli ) so we know at some point he's going to sit there and call her dora, just to tease her and probably to get some kind of reaction out of her. he's been pretty popular lately, traveling the world on his first tour, and selling albums like hot cakes. he's from england, so im pretty sure he'd actually recognize her for who she is. i think if he acted like he didn't, and treated her like just another person it'd be good. despite his fame, he's definitely down to earth and he's always been taught growing up that he needs to look after himself, and not get lazy. now, im not sure where they could meet, but im thinking perhaps he could be someone she calls up when she needs some kind of help, whether its doing laundry, or cooking. we could have a few of those cute mishaps, like burns, or putting to much soap in the washing machine so it over flows foam and could wind up in some really cute adorable instances. he'd just want her to be herself. talk and open up to him. eventually she'd probably figure out that he knows who she is, and maybe she'd be happy that he didn't just treat her like another royal and kiss her ass. he'd probably show her just a regular life, show her things around town, let her experience an everyday life. invite her out and stuff to different places. this hasn't got much depth to it of course, but i'd love to see how it kind of develops.

( winnie and calli ) just been thinking about how they're going to meet, obviously it's going to be a little weird for winnie to find someone identical to her around the town. winnie works as a waitress so it could really be the most blatantly obvious place the two of them could run into each other. something like, she's serving calli and callis kind of hidden behind her menu and winnie doesn't notice until she brings the food back that theres a girl in her booth who looks exactly like her. OR we could go in a completely different direction here. i dont even know!!
