[atrb=border,0,true] it was days like these where Sutton had nothing better to do than roam the vast stores of crystal lake’s very own mall. her job as an intern at the local radio station was time consuming, so when she had a day off like this she found herself stuck with nothing to do. rather than study for any upcoming tests, she hopped in the car and drove herself to the mall in hopes of relieving her boredom. having arrived no less than fifty minutes ago she had already visited three stores, purchased two shirts, and set off the store security alarm forgetting she hadn’t taken off the jeans she had tried on. it took some heavy pleading to convince the store’s security guards that no, she wasn’t a thief and would pay good money for the jeans in compensation. trouble seemed to follow sutton hart wherever she ventured, this wasn’t the only time she was accused of stealing at the mall much to her frustration. she wouldn’t be surprised if store clerks had a picture of her face with the words “beware” underneath. chewing on the pretzel she had previously bought from one of the venders, sutton walked with a small crowd of people. Since it was still early in the morning, there weren’t too many people window-shopping. It was then when a particular shop caught her eye. the speakers were blasting a loud song she had heard on the radio earlier and people her age could be seen folding clothes through the glossy windows. It was the perfect place for her to find something to do, or buy. Tossing the pretzel in the nearest trashcan, she gripped her bags even tighter before making her way to the store, a waft of scented air hitting her face once she entered the premises. None of the employees bothered to acknowledge her presence and continued with their previous tasks. sutton didn't mind, she just continued to shift through the piles of clothes minding her own business. It was then when Sutton found the perfect dress, a miracle really seeing as it was on sale. she cheered happily to herself, gripping the sundress closer to her chest as if someone might snatch it from her. Considering there was no one else in the store except for a couple holding hands, the actions was ridiculous, being sutton she could care less. The only thing left to do was to try it on, but with her luck it wouldn’t fit and all hope would be lost. With a quick glance around the store it was confirmed that the dressing rooms were to her left, long curtains in place of doors. Shuffling her way to the other side of the store she threw open the first curtain she reached, mouth flying open in surprise as she realized that no, she wasn’t the only one present in the store. Screwing her eyes shut before she could take another look at the unsuspecting customer, she clumsily closed the curtain, mumbling incoherent sentences as she tried to apologize. Sorry... I’m so sorry, she rambled, apologizing to the curtain, her cheeks an ungodly shade of red. Her trip to the mall seemed a lot more exciting now. ooc; i truly hate this ;/ |
