After their scandalous loss at Nationals, the New Directions returned to Ohio with a sharpened sense of determination. However, by the time summer closed out and a new school year began, a large chunk of the New Directions had a brand new task to work out: deciding on a college. For the first time since Will Schuester banded them together, members of the McKinley High glee club would have to say goodbye to high school and hello to a brand new kind of adventure. The following year, the lives of the senior class would change completely as they packed their bags and headed out to the great unknown. Those left would have to keep the club going, recruit new members, and compete once again, despite the loss of their oldest members. Meanwhile around the circuit, the larger and more established clubs were barely affected by the impending graduation, having watched teammates leave before and (incidentally) having younger students waiting in the wings to take their place. At McKinley High? Not so much. Flourishing as a team would be challenging once their numbers took such a dive, but no one was prepared to give up without a fight.
Graduation seemed to come and go in a blur, and how the time in-between was spent is entirely in your hands. How did those final tests go? What happened at senior prom? Who, exactly, is left to rule the glee clubs and who has moved on to higher education? Who graduated, but elected to stay behind?
It's now the summer of 2012 - the last summer that many of our favorite characters will spend at home before filling their car to the brim and finding what the world has to offer outside of their parents' walls.
