[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: transparent; border: #transparent solid 15px; width: 400px; padding: 10 5 10 10px;] i'm lucky to be in love with my best friend daniel feels one of the luckiest guy on earth. he's glad to stay close to home and happily married. who would ever thought he would marry his best friend that he's known his entire life? manette and daniel have known each other since they were about ten years old and became friends since. they tell each other everything, do everything together, tell each other secrets, and shared their first kiss. the young boy knew she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with and knew it was time to take the big step. he knows his parents wouldn't approve of them getting married because they're too young, but they were in love. today was his day off from work and all he wants to do is stay home, relax all day. well, that and to spend the rest of the day with his beautiful wife, manette. so what better way then to go to the beach and maybe take a little swim? the weather outside is warm and sunny today. not a single cloud was out on the clear blue sky, so it was a sign to do something fun today. they got things ready for whatever they were going to take like sunblock, pair of fresh towels, and some snacks for whenever they get hungry later. after putting some things in the trunk, they got inside the car and made their way toward the beach. once they arrived, daniel look around and notice the area slowly getting packed. getting some things out of the car and making their way to the sand, looking for the perfect spot to sit and relax. they found one spot almost close to the water and put the items down. daniel was wearing swim shorts with a white plain t-shirt and wearing pair of his favorite sunglasses. he place a towel above the sand, sitting down and turns his head, looking at the water for a moment. he let out a small sigh, wondering what they should to do today. so, beautiful, what do you want to do today? the boy asked his wife, looking over at her with a smile. he didn't mind doing whatever she wanted to do. after all, today is all about her and her day to have him all to herself for once since they got married. he hates being away from her, but there's nothing to do about it. daniel is trying to pursue his dream of becoming a recording artist and went out to do it. look at him now. we could go take a swim right now or just stay here all day. whatever you want. today i'm all yours.

Manette loved that he didn't mind what they wanted to do. It was very sweet of him, Daniel was a very sweet man. That was one of the reasons, of course, that she married him. Another was that she just loved him too much to not marry him. And their marriage was working so well. She had all the talks from her friends who thought that they would have their arguments and fights and marriage would make each others flaws more apparent. One of her friends even said that Daniel would eventually despise her career. That was so far from the truth. They supported each other in their careers. Manette loved being a self-employed palm reader and Daniel knew it. And she was good friends with a lot of her regular clients,s o they kept coming back for more. She loved her job just like Daniel loved his. Manette saw her marriage as healthy because they were there for each other and their careers. In short, her friends couldn't have been more wrong.

And Manette couldn't be more pleased that Daniel's job wasn't taking him away from home too much right now. Of course she'd support him when the time came, but it was nice to be able to be a wife and have Daniel home.

"I feel like taking a swim in the sea." she beamed lovingly at her husband, kissing him on the cheek before bolting off toward the sea.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: transparent; border: #transparent solid 15px; width: 400px; padding: 10 5 10 10px;] i'm lucky to be in love with my best friend daniel would give up anything just to spend time with his beautiful newly wife. he would do anything for her to keep her happy, especially since that's what he did throughout their entire life. since they were kids, he did just about anything to keep his best friend happy and it's become a habit of his since. the thought of seeing her upset made him feel bad on the inside. when she's happy, then he's happy and that's all he wants. after arriving to the beach, daniel look around the area and notice more people began to show up as the beach started to get crowded and crowded with people. the young man followed wherever his wife was going until they found the perfect spot in the middle of the beach. after sitting down and hearing what the blonde girl wanted to do, he felt a quick little kiss being planted on his lips. then saw her getting up and running towards the water which put a smile on the young man's face. he got up from the sand and walked over toward her direction, having his hands inside the pockets from his swim shorts. tilting his head to the side and looking at his wife having a good time in the water. he slowly walks over toward the water and began to splash some cold H2O on her, letting out a small laugh while hearing her squeal. how does the water feel? the young man teased, grinning.

Manette was buzzing with anticipation as she watched her husband walk up to the water. At this point, Manette was already waist deep. She loved the feel of the water against her skin. She noticed he wasn't coming into the water, which made her pout slightly. In the second that he seemed to be reaching for the water, she sighed happily thinking that he was coming in. Instead she was greeted by a splash of water. She spluttered it back out and wiped her eyes, her vision becoming blurry for a moment. But she laughed, it was all in good fun. "See how you like it!" she called out, dragging her arm across the water and sending a large amount of water hurling at him. She giggled as she danced in the water cheerfully, dipping her head in the water so her neck and scalp could feel the tender caress of the sea.

She wondered if this trip to be the beach had anything to do with their year anniversary. Maybe he had something different planned for that. Presents, maybe? A romantic dinner? It was hard to tell. And she didn't know what she was getting him yet either. She had to get him something great though, or she'd never forgive herself.

"Aren't you going to come in? The water's great!" she beamed.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: transparent; border: #transparent solid 15px; width: 400px; padding: 10 5 10 10px;] i'm lucky to be in love with my best friend daniel didn't felt like getting wet today. even though, the weather felt nice and warm. he didn't want to jump into the water yet. he look over at his wife and notice a little pout on her face which made made a small smile appear on his face. she look cute when she pouts, but it's something he doesn't like seeing. let alone that it's one of his weakness. just because i like it doesn't mean i'm going in that cold water with you. i'm okay standing right here where i'm dry. he secretly never liked the water since he was little. maybe because he had a little experience during his childhood years that involved him drowning and causing him to never getting near the water again. but with their anniversary around the corner, he figured the beach would be worth celebrating for being married for a year. he couldn't be happier. a small laugh escaped between his lips as he watch his wife for almost a year dancing around in the water, having a good time. he wants to get in the water, but at the same time he didn't want to. a small sigh escaped between his lips, chewing the inside of his cheek and thinking about what to do. maybe getting wet won't be that bad. as long as he has his wife by his side, then that's fine with him. the boy slowly walk toward the water, making his way toward manette. are y.. you ha.. happy now? he teased, shivering at how cold the water is. notes: i am so sorry for the very late post. my muse hasn't been working too well with me lately. :/

Awww. There he was. Wading through the water to join her in the sea. He was getting a big cuddle for that! Manette walked over to him to meet him, giggling slightly at the way he was shivering. The water always felt cold the first time you came in but eventually your body warmed to it. She wrapped his arms around him and laid her head against his chest as a thank you for getting into the water. He didn't really have to, she wouldn't have got moody with him if he didn't. But still, it was nice to feel like she wasn't playing in the water alone like a single person. "I love you" she said, her voice muffled against his chest. She lifted her head up and invited him to kiss her. She couldn't believe they'd almost been married one whole year. It had gone by so fast. Wedded bliss had consumed them immediately and Manette still felt like a jittery bride sometimes.

"Have you thought about our anniversary?" she asked sweetly, fluttering her eyelashes innocently as she imagined many different scenarios in which Daniel was going to give her the best anniversary ever. Then again, he could do that simply by being there. Her hands swayed over his chest and down his arms, finding his hand and taking it with hers. Her fingers ran over the lifeline of his palm, which was long. Daniel was going to live to old age, the proof was in his palms. Which meant they had literally the rest of their lives together.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: transparent; border: #transparent solid 15px; width: 400px; padding: 10 5 10 10px;] i'm lucky to be in love with my best friend daniel could not believe he's in the water right now. while shivering and making his way over toward manette, he felt her arms being wrapped around him and gently kissed the top of her head. a smile appeared on his face once he received the hug from his amazing wife. after hearing those three words that contain eight letters, he couldn't help but smile once again. it's always nice to hear those words coming out from her mouth and saying it loud for him to hear. i love you too. he said, looking down at her and gave her a little quick passionate kiss on the lips. afterwards, he removed his arms and slide one hand into hers and chewing the inside of his cheek, thinking about their anniversary. he cannot believe it's days away, feeling like they just got married couple months ago. he doesn't know what to plan for their celebration of being marry for one whole year. every day he's with her makes him loves her even more. yeah, i have. he said, nodding his head. a friend of mine wants to plan a surprise party for us. i'm sure you know her. it's stephanie. the boy said, telling her half of the plan. he knows how much manette and stephanie enjoys hanging out with one another, at least that's what he thinks. but the party is not until the night, so i got something special plan for us until then. you got to act surprise and pretend you love it though. the boy teased, smiling. he doesn't know exactly what he has plan for the two of them, but he'll come up with something until that day comes. he's the romantic type, so this shouldn't be a problem for him. notes: c:
