duke hadn't spent much time outside of the recording studio lately, how could he have? with this tour about to take over his life, they were getting down the next few tracks he'd be releasing. the label had pushed for an early release of his second album, after his debut had sold an incredible amount in the first six months. he was still touring, arenas were selling out, and people were definitely using his name as though he was the next big thing. he wasn't about to let that get to him though, there was more to life than fame, there was more to life than fame and fortune. he'd tucked himself into one of the booths in the diner, ignoring a few flashes from outside the windows. he picked up one of the worn menus and gave it a brief read over, before he looked up at the waitress who was impatiently awaiting his order. uh, just a burger and chips - er, i mean fries, please? oh, and a coke. he nodded his head briefly, before handing the menu back over. he folded his jacket in his lap before he set it aside, and leaned into the table, a light sigh slipping through his lips, as his fingers ruffled through his lengthy hair.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 350px; padding: 10px; background-image: url(http://i.imgur.com/w6MZf.png);] it won't be long my darling pick up the phone nobody's on it typically, kenna didn't like eating out unless it was really good food, but today was a special day obviously. kenna was starving and lazy and really didn't feel like heating up something quick at home after class, so she headed to the diner. you couldn't go wrong with breakfast or a classic burger and a milkshake in her world. as she approached the diner she noticed a crowd of paparazzi outside. 'who would want to see pictures of a celebrity eating? sheesh,' she thought. kenna walked into the restaurant and her eyes fell upon the man that the photographers were there for... duke meyer. he seemed like a cool kid, not to mention that he's flipping gorgeous. she definitely was a fan. kenna had seen him once before, but it was a rushed moment and he probably wouldn't have remembered her; she's just another face in the crowd. kenna decided to head his way though after seeing the 'seat yourself' sign. "hey duke," kenna said casually, yet at the same time very awkwardly as she approached his table. words: rapid tags: duke/jenners |

im glad you came. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=style, width: 350px; background-color:#af9ea8; padding:0px;] he'd hardly had time to get used to the fame, how could he? the album had been released and he'd been shipped off around the country on a tour. now here he was in the middle of america, in this small town, doing what? recording an album? yeah, he'd have preferred being back home in england at that moment. but this was where his fate had led him, so he was deciding to live it up while he possibly could. his fingers tapped against the table a moment, and he offered a brief smile to the paps waiting outside, eager for some juicy photo. but why? he was eating, it wasn't as though they were going to see him meeting up with some girl. well.. he wasn't until she wandered over to his table. his eyes met hers a moment, and he took her in, big bright eyes, long hair, pretty features. she was certainly a stunner. um, hello his brow furrowed, he wasn't sure if he was supposed to know her, or if she was just a fan after an autograph. he glanced over his shoulder towards the counter, and back to her. i'm sorry, i don't actually have a pen on me, but i'm sure one of the waitresses could give you one, if you'd like an autograph - that is what you're after, right?
