Hayden was one of those girls who didn't know what to do with spare time. Just the thought of an hour to relax during the day could send her into a panic attack. Just after lunch time and she'd already completed more than the average person would in two whole days. She'd dropped off a bunch of dresses to the set of some hot new T.V show, she'd met with a new client, started story boarding the concept for the promos for her new show and even managed to Skype back home with her parents while she was waiting between meetings. Fame wasn't a luxury or a given right, it was a career and Haddy knew that. She'd never actually dreamed of being famous. All she wanted to do was work with clothes. However her brothers success took off, she was already working close with a number of celebrities and all of a sudden she'd been given her own reality series. She found it hard to believe, especially since she'd never considered her life to be too interesting but apparently audiences liked her blunt, sassy personality and all of her little life dramas.
Now she was free though. No more appointments, no more fittings. The day was hers. What the hell was she meant to do with it though. She never finished during the day. Night times were easy to relax into but not the day. Hayden needed to be busy all of the time, she needed to be useful. She'd always put alot of time and effort into her work however lately she was using it to escape just about everything else. Losing a baby was worse than taking a bullet to a girl like her. It was failure, it was loss, it was a whole lot of grief. Hayden prided herself on being a strong woman though, one of the strongest in fact and instead she kept it all to herself. Instead burying herself under piles of work and the slight chance that one day hers and Scott's over sized house would one day hear the pitter patter of tiny feet.
Slamming her car door shut and grabbing the pile of bags out of the back, Hayden waltzed up their ridiculously long drive way. A struggle with her keys and she was finally in. She may not have had any work to do or cameras in her face for once but she knew how to occupy her time. Whether they liked it or not the rest of the Meyer siblings were joining her for dinner later that night. While moving to America had been in the best interest for both her and Scott's career, her main incentive had been that someone needed to look out for Duke and Amna. Fame was scary and ruthless enough, there was no way she was letting it ruin her younger siblings. Family was everything to her. Growing up hers had been incredibly close and despite all the craziness going on around them, she was determined to keep it that way. Even as a little girl all she'd ever wanted was the big house, the perfect husband, the herd of kids. She was way too maternal for her own good but she'd lucked out and actually found the perfect husband.. She had the house, all that was missing was the family. For now she'd have to play mother to her siblings instead though.
Walking into the kitchen, she dropped the heavy grocery bags onto the counter with a loud thud. She hated a quiet home. "Baby, I'm home. Are you here?" she called out, the sound of her voice echoing through the spacious home. With their busy schedules many thought marriage would be hard for the Millers but it was all Hayden had ever wanted so they seemed to make it work. They were an adored couple by the media, often holding hands at red carpet events or seen dining at exclusive restaurants but behind closed doors she loved how normal things were. Before anything else she was a wife and that meant cooking dinner, asking about his day and all the normally boring activities that Hayden seemed to get a kick out of.
