After finally finishing her psychology homework, she closed her textbook and sighed. It was half past three and she promised Hunter she would be at the diner around five. It had been a while since she made plans with him. Olive was never really close with Hunter until him and Livia broke up. She had always been attracted to him but he never showed any interest in her. His interest was always in Livia. Olive never blamed him though, Livia was a fantastic person and very pretty too. She kept those feelings completely locked up though, their friendship was so much more important to her. Especially, since he needed some emotional support since Livia wasn't coming back at all. Somehow little ideas were coursing through her head about how she could tell Hunter how she felt but no. She knew it would be stupid. he was heart broken and she didn't want to lose him over her kiddy feelings. Olive slipped out of her bed and trudged to the bathroom. She realized it was an odd time to take a shower but she had been in her pajamas in this heat all day, she needed one.
Olive stood in the shower for more than half an hour before she realized she hadn’t really done anything. She was thinking about too much of everything. Considering all of the homework she had just done, she would have rather curled back up in her bed to take a nap. Olive knew she would end sleeping past five and would completely mess things up with Hunter. She stepped out of the bathroom and glanced over at the clock on her night stand, it was only four fifteen. Olive sighed in relief, she still had plenty of enough time to get ready. She slipped into her favorite cotton floral shirt, flats and shorts and went out of the front door. Olive had a car, yes, but for some reason she always insisted on walking. She lived right beside the lake and considering the great summer weather she would rather walk and enjoy the view.
The diner was a bit far from the lake but she didn't mind. Considering the time, she wouldn't make it too early or late. She locked her front door and walked down the streets of Crystal Lake. It was a peaceful evening and many people were out an about enjoying the good weather. There were plenty of people by the lake, most of them kids just goofing off sitting on the rocks. Olive preferred not to look that way anymore considering the events that happened not to long ago. It had scarred her and she couldn't picture anything but that woman's innocent body lying lifeless on that same rock the kids were playing on. She shook the image from her mind and walked along, greeting the people she knew that walked by. When she arrived at the diner, it was already a bit crowded with people coming in for dinner hour. She fidgeted for her phone in her pocket and waited. She was a bit early so she knew Hunter would be there at any moment.

after finishing the last two pages from his book and answering the remaining questions he had left, the boy finally closed the book. getting up from the chair and grab his phone from the desk, looking to see what time it was and it was four ten. it took him little longer than he thought it would. hunter quickly walked toward the bathroom, hopping into the shower that took him about ten minutes. coming out of the room with the towel wrapped around his waist, walking over toward the closet and see what to put on for today. he slip on black jeans and a plain white v-neck shirt, grabbing a sweater while making his way out toward the front door. hopping into the car and starting the engine, driving his way to the diner. sure, he could have walked to the diner but didn't had the time to walk. after arriving, he parked the car in the parking lot in front of the little restaurant and walking inside the building. while putting his car keys away inside the pocket from his sweater and notice his good friend standing in front of him, waiting. hey, you. the boy said, gently placing a hand on her back and looking over at the girl with a smile. he then gave her a little friendly hug. i am so sorry. i guess, the homework took little longer to finish than what i expected. he apologized, slowly pulling away from the hug. he hoped she wasn't too upset with him arriving to the diner little late than the time he promised to arrive. this isn't like him to break a promise, but he's here now and ready to start this little hangout started. hunter did missed hanging out with her rambling self. it brings him back to the good old days. so, are you ready to eat because i'm starving. hunter laughed. he then reach for her hand and pull her along with him while looking around for an empty table. wow, the diner was crowded with people this evening. after searching and searching for a table, they finally found one close to the window. he let out of olivia's hand and sat down, waiting for her to join him.
tag with olivia / i'll get better soon.

Time seemed to go by so slowly as she waited for Hunter. She had been asked twice if she wanted to be seated and refused both times. "I'm waiting for someone,"she stated. They stared at her in disbelief when she said it but left her alone anyway. Only about fifteen minutes had passed, why were they bothering her. Olive dug in her pocket for her phone again, prepared to text or call Hunter when someone touch her back and startled her. She looked up to Hunter's smiling face. She couldn't help but smile right back. "Hunter, hey!" she practically shouted, returning his hug. She wanted to stay in that hug but thought against it, knowing he would be creeped out by it. When he pulled away she stuffed her phone back in her pocket and shrugged. "No big deal, I told you I could of helped you with it. You should of brought it." she replied shaking off his unnecessary apology.
So are you ready to eat because I'm starving. She laughed at the innocent look on his face. At times she swore he had such child like features especially when he laughed and smiled. They were completely adorable. Olive nodded and held on to his hand, following him along towards an empty table. The diner was oddly loud and crowded. It was hardly ever this way, she just wondered what was the occasion. Maybe the great weather made people want to go out to eat? She didn't know but she hoped the noise wouldn't make her little headache from the homework worse. They finally found a table by a window in the back of the diner and let go of each other's hand. Olive sat across from him and opened her menu scanning the pages for no reason since she already knew what they had while looking up at Hunter every few seconds. "So did you actually finish your homework or did you just quit?" she asked with a laugh lowering the menu from her face. She raised a hand to her face and brushed a loose hair away looking around the diner. She noticed some familiar faces but ignored them instead bringing her attention back to her friend. "Do you know what's good here?" she asked wondering why she couldn't just have a normal conversation. She always tended to ask unnecessary questions.

|
the boy gave her a little shrug. he didn't want to tag his homework along with. he wanted to give her his full attention and talk about anything rather than spending the evening talking about homework. after settling down and scanning through the menu, looking up when the boy heard olivia mentioning something about the homework. he let out a small laugh, slightly nodding his head while closing the menu. of course, i did my homework. if i decided to quit, then i would've been here earlier. he said, giving her a smile. sure, he spend half of his life giving up on basically everything but luckily, he has someone whose willing to give him a helping hand. knowing that olivia would be there to help him on whatever he needs him on, whether if it's homework or just general stuff. hunter knows he has someone to reply on and ask for really helpful advice. opening the menu again, quickly scanning and looking to see what's good here. it's been a while since the boy last been here. hmm, i don't know. there's the hamburger special, chicken salad, and the buffalo chicken tenders. the boy said, teasing about the last part. he enjoys teasing with olivia, especially because she doesn't always find it offended or she returns the favor by teasing back. i think i'm gonna get the hamburger special. what are you getting, olive? pick anything you more from the menu. hunter didn't mind spending money as long as she's fed that's all he cares about. [/div] tag with olivia / lol mine is still recovering.

Although she wouldn't have wanted them to spend there day doing homework together she knew she always wanted to help. She couldn't exactly understand what he was going through with the break up but she did know that whatever it felt like was a huge distraction. Olivia was never in any serious relationships, she couldn't even actually recall ever being in a relationship. The thought of it made her feel so out of place but she ignored it. Being a twenty one year old with no dating experience was alright, she guessed. She smiled at him and returned the shrug, opening her menu and glancing over what they had.
Olivia grinned when Hunter laughed, the sound becoming all too familiar. He had a very distinctive laugh and it was extremely contagious. "Well, I can't be too sure with you. Who knows if you forgot something?" she replied, flipping a page in her menu. Olivia hoped he hadn't taken that seriously. She didn't want to make him worry that he forgot to do something or forgot to answer a few questions. It was a habit of hers to make herself do that. She always felt like she had forgotten something and usually wouldn't find out until she was about to go to bed. It was very annoying but she learned to use it to her advantage. It was such a pleasure having a phone with a task list.
She listened to Hunter's choices and smiled. They all sounded promising and Olivia was hungry enough to eat all of them. She looked them up in her menu and choose what looked more appealing to her. Their burgers looked hefty enough to satisfy her and she nodded. "I think I'm going to have the same. They look really good." She put down her menu and queued to a waiter a few tables from them that they were ready. Olivia looked back at Hunter and smiled wondering what could possibly be going through his mind at the moment. Thankfully, he looked happy and that's all that mattered. "Want to share a huge order of fries, too?" she asked grinning, "I'll pay."
