glancing up at the ceiling of his bedroom, he yawned loudly, letting his eyes soon rest upon the clock that sat on his bed side table, showing 2pm. he had been out drinking last night and at this present moment he had no energy to go anything. allowing his eyes to flicker shut slowly, it was the sound of his iphone ringing and vibrating that caused him to suddenly wake out of his deep sleep that he was about to drift into. sighing some he reached over picked up his phone and glanced at the screen. "abigail?" raising his eyebrow, he shook his head before ignoring the call and putting his phone to one side. it wasn't long before his phone started ringing again, which caused him grab his phone, pull himself up, sitting as he thought about whether he should answer the call or not. sighing loudly, he took a breath before answering. "what?"
|
[/b] knowing exactly what she was about to ask for, he sighed once more before cutting her short to begin to speak. "i sold you some of that stuff last night and you've finished it already?"[/b] rolling his eyes as he listened to the addict talk, he spoke clearly but quickly. "i'm not dressed, but i'll meet you in the park in an hour.. i'll have some stuff for you then, just make sure you have the money"[/b] ending the call, nate dragged himself to his feet. it didn't take him long to get ready and before he knew it he was out of the door on his way to the park as promised. still feeling hungover from the night before, he headed towards his car which sat in the driveway. slipping into his car, he put on his shades as the rays of the sun stung his eyes. he hated the heat when he was hungover, the best place for nate when he had been partying hard the night before was laying in bed with a random chick he met from the night before, that always fixed his hangover. it was a short drive to the park where he was planning to meet abigail. not seeing any sight of her anywhere, he planned to take a walk as he waited for her to arrive. strolling through the park, he made his way to a near by bench sitting down and relaxing for a few moments. taking in the afternoon sun and the light breeze, nate didn't expect to bump into anyone he knew, especially someone he wasn't ready to see. This town was better than the last, it seemed more of a small town kind of place, the place where you could raise a family, however it also meant a place where you could easily be recognized. However it was better than a big city living in a ratty place or sharing a place with three other people, yelling at you for having a yelling kid, two things she had done lately. Still, this place would never be home, even if she could find a way to go unnoticed, if she could build a life here, it wouldn't be like back home. She had a family back home, friends. There was once a time she was happy and not living out of fear however times had changed. She would never be able to go back home, even if the cops did learn the truth. She would never be able to show her face around her family, she had lived with a druggie, a seller, she had been planning on bringing a kid into that world, something her family would shame her for. She couldn't face that, even if it was safe.
It had been a slow morning, Angelina didn't have to work, so it meant time with her daughter. A rare opportunity now days. It had been months on the road running from the law and trying to do so with a baby wasn't easy. She was missing all the things a mother looked forward in doing with their child. The strolls in the park, pushing her child in a stroller, the first swing of a swing in the park. She wanted to fix that today. Today she was planning on taking little Lillian out to the park. Putting the small hat on the smiling baby, Angelina couldn't help by smile back. Picking the kid up, she turned to place her into the small stroller, before collecting her few things and making her way for the door. It wouldn't be a long walk, the park was only a few place away from the small apartment she was renting out. It was rare to get such days as these and Angelina was going to make sure she didn't let one moment pass by without making the most of it, so as she started her walk, she made sure to take in ever second and every sound the little baby made.
Thinking back on her life, Angelina wasn't sure when it became such a mess. Normally people would have taken a guess and said it was the moment she met Nathan, after all, in the end he was the reason why she was on the run, the reason why her life was in shambles and her child was being raised in a horrible environment with only a single mother to provide, however she couldn't pin it to that moment, Nathan had been a good guy, in fact there was never really a moment he wasn't a good guy, until he left her high and dry to take the blame for the drug raid. He had to have known what happened that day, yet she never heard any news that he cleared her name.
Making her way into the park, pushing the stroller, Angelina tried to push those thoughts from her mind, she didn't want them invading her nice day. She refused to allow it to eat up any more of her time. Making her way to the swings, she thought about putting Maggie in one of the baby ones and pushing her, but the fear that her child would fall through the holes made her decide that the best option for the outing would be just a walk through the park, however it want long before that walk was cut short. She recognized the man the moment she laid eyes on him. She would know him any where, it was Nathan. What was he doing here? No, she couldn't deal with this now, she didn't want to see him. She didn't want to hear the excuses or worse, be ignored when he noticed she was here as well. Quickly turning around she started to walk back the direction she had just come, in hopes that he hadn't seen her as well. The last thing she needed was a run in with him. 735 words, outfit, notes: it will get better i swear |

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r71/maggiesrpstuff/BACKGROUNDS/fk5qwnjpg.png); width: 457px; padding-top: 30; padding-bottom: 30; -moz-border-radius: 35 35 35 35; -webkit-border-radius: 35 35 35 35;]hi » NATHAN SETH ALDEN. the stress of his life back home brought nathan to the person he was today. he had never took drugs in his life. the furthest he had gone was smoking weed, but that didn't make what he was doing right. he was a drug dealer and he had watched how the horrible substances he would sell destroy peoples lives but it was the way he made a living. he dropped out of high school at the age of sixteen and never graduated. when his mother and father got a divorce, it hit the family hard which meant he had to be the man of the family. dropping of school, he eventually found a job. a job which never did make enough money to support his family. his mother was struggling to look after him and his siblings so nathan took it upon himself to make money and selling drugs seemed like the fastest way to do it at the time and from then he has never been able to get out of it. the more he saw the money, the deeper it drove him to sell more.
nate wouldn't let a day go by where he wouldn't think about what he left back at home and how he left. he still felt the guilt of leaving so suddenly whenever he would think about it. he had a daughter, a potential wife and he left all of that because of how his life was. he didn't mean to leave the way he did, but at that moment in time, the thought of going into jail was the scariest thing in the world to him, so the only option for him was the run, which was what he did. deep down he knew he was a nice guy - well at least he thought he was. everything seemed to be going well for him, but eventually he slipped up and that's what caused the drug raid that day. he could remember it all so clearly, yet never made the effort to put it right. he was selfish, he thought about himself and for some strange reason he didn't feel bad for doing so.
relaxing himself on the bench in the park, he pulled his iphone from out his pocket checking to see if there were any missed calls from abigail. shaking his head, there was nothing. "bitch"
|
[/b] he mumbled under his breath. "i did not get out of bed for this shit"[/b] he sighed loudly, letting his attention glance around the park to see if he could see her around anywhere. continuing to let his eyes scan the entire park, it wasn't long before - no it couldn't be right. squinting his eyes, he noticed a lady pushing a stroller in the near distance. it couldn't be her could it? nate could feel his heart begin to beat a little faster. he froze, couldn't move - almost like he was in a dream. staring for a few moments, he noticed her turn around and start to move in the opposite direction. that made it ever so clear. "angelina.." he spoke her name, something he hadn't done out loud since the day he left. what was she doing here? not knowing what else to do, he pulled himself up from the bench, strength that he finally found from deep within him and began to follow after her. "angelina!?"[/b] he called out to her. walking quickly in her direction, he began to jog as he could see her moving faster away from him. "angelina!"[/b] getting closer, he pulled her arm back, eventually standing in front of the stroller so she couldn't move any further. he glazed at angelina then let his eyes fall upon his daughter in disbelief. "i- i can't believe it.. wha-what are you doing here?"[/b] he couldn't help but let his emotions take over him. "my daughter.."[/b] [/div]
