Acceptance seemed to be something that both of them could do. While Stephanie had her controlling side, Sammy had his playful side, always playing jokes and causing a trouble while trying to get someone to smile. Many people would have thought that because they were so different and Stephanie normally hated people like that, that the two of them wouldn't get along, but it was the opposite, it seemed to draw the two of them together. After all, like they said, opposites attract. Most people would have thought Stephanie would freak with the icing in her hair. She knew Danny would have thought so and she was sure Sammy thought she was going to as well, however she didn't. The only explanation had to be Sammy, he had this way of bringing her down, making her more calm and open to new things. "Trust me, I wont be waisting another one. You win this battle, but just remember I will be winning the war." Winking at the boy, she placed a finger on his chest, poking it lightly, a smile creeping over her face. Yes she was letting him win, someone should take note of this for the books. However, Stephanie knew one day she would get back, it might be hours, days, even months from now, but he would pay. It wasn't going to overly mean, just a fay way of getting pay back. After all Stephanie wasn't the kind of girl to let people win, at least not so easy. "It was worth it, well until you got me back." Tugging on the boys hair, she stuck her tongue out at him before twirling a little, she was in a light mood, it was nice. As she asked the boy to stay in her bed she noticed how weird that might sound. she wasn't looking for sex, she wasn't looking for anything more than for a friend to keep a friend company, however she could tell that he might have taken it other ways, especially with the 'uh' that fell out of his mouth first. he sounded so hesitant "I didn't mean it as anything more than a friend" Stephanie said looking down at the ground. "I just thought that it would help me sleep after that movie, if you held me." Swallowing, Stephanie glanced up at the boy from under her lashes. Did she really just admit to her friend that she wanted him to hold her? That was okay though right? After all, she just agreed to go on a date with the boy. "I mean its up to you, if you want to sleep on the sofa that's okay, it was just an offer." Watching the boy for a moment as they started to walk, their fingers intertwined, Stephanie couldn't stop smiling. The blushing had stopped, but the smile, there was nothing that could make that fade. "I promise I wont even have to pretend that I like it, because I know I'm going to like any date with you. There's nothing that could mess it up." Stephanie glanced up at the boy as she leaned in closer to him, lifting there arms and moving to place his arm around her shoulders as they walked, slipping her fingers from his and wrapping both of her arms around his body, hugging him close, still trying to walk, even like this. 587 words, notes: yes we should c: i say we just end this one here and you start the date, unless you need me to start? |
